Announcing the arrival of another CrossFit Affiliate in the Eastern Sierra, Mammoth CrossFit!!! You can visit our new website, designed by Nils and Keri Davis (www.nilsdavisdesign.com), at www.mammothcrossfit.com!!! The Mammoth CrossFit gym will be up and running in the very, very near future. Besides adding a whole new gym to the east side, we’ve also given CrossFit Bishop a significant upgrade. Besides adding a whole slew of new gear (including rowers, GHD’s, Med balls, Barbells, etc.) we’ve also got two new coaches, Krista and Dre! This Friday’s 6 am class will be run by Krista, and hopefully you’ll see her coaching a class each week. Dre will also be jumping in to help coach some classes soon too! If you have a keen eye you will see the new look of our CrossFit Bishop website. Nils and Keri have been working with Molly and me to create something a little more dynamic and interactive. Cyndee’s “Best Shape of Your Life Challenge” blog will now be integrated into a blog on our site, and we’ll also have a forum where we will have various discussion topics and links to articles/videos popping up on a regular basis.
On another note, as you know, The Reebok CrossFit Games start at 7 am at the beach tomorrow morning (Friday). The Games will go on all weekend long and I’d like to extend an invitation once again to all of you to come watch at our home! Some of the workouts have already been posted on http://games.crossfit.com/ so check it out and come on over. We’ll be watching first thing in the morning at our house, so if you can make it over at 7 am, bring a cup of coffee and watch the athletes try to keep from drowning in the ocean swim, and tearing up their hands and feet doing sand runs, and chest to bar pull ups!!! Read more about this on the new CFB Forum...

The website looks amazing!!!! And check you out Pablo.... You're a beast!
Krista, thanks for coaching us through this WOD!
6am class was stacked......brutal.
Used almost every last bar, weight plate, and rower for the 9am class. Wall to wall deadlifts and thrusters!!! It's like a dream come true for me today with the CrossFit Games on the TV and athletes throwing down hard in the gym.
Late this morning I came up with a really simple but very effective hip mobility drill for anyone with limited hip/spine ROM. Ask me about it next time you see!!!
