Awesome job, Krista and Andres!
So proud of you sista and Dre!
Nice job guys! Wanna hear about it.
KRISTA AND DRE ---NATURE GIVES US AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT A METAMORPHOSE YOU TO HAVE GONE THROUGH AND WHAT IS TO COME WITH YOUR NEW CREDENTIALS, TWO CATAPILLERS,GOING THROUGH THE COCOON PHASE AND NOW YOU ARE IN THE BUTTERFLY OF CROSSFIT INSTRUCTORS. IT GIVES ME A NEW FEELING ABOUT LEARNING THE BUTTERFLY PULL-UP METHOD. WAY TO GO YOU TWO,NOW LETS GET ROCKING.
Thanks ya'll! We had a sick weekend, our instructors were phenomenal coaches and athletes, I feel, as am sure so does Krista, very lucky to have had the chance to learn from them in such a well equipped, state-of-the-art box. We got to do Fran on Sat, and I got completely destroyed. I mean CRUSHED. Definetively the most painful workout I've been put through. As I come out of the cocoon, as Arnie so eloquently put it, I hope to earn and keep your trust and friendship. You are all inspirinmg athletes, and I am constantly humbled by everyones unwavering effort, not only as indivuduals, but as a group and community. A deep thanks to Colin and Molly for their welcome, and to all the coaches for their encouragement and perfect example.
And remember:"The front's for show, and the back for dough."
Awesome job, you two! Can't wait for you to boss me around in class! ;o)
Much love Andres!! Can't wait to geek out with you on the porch very soon!
Speaking of community...once again I missed this very much anticipated Crossfit workout because of SARfit...we had a hiker go down last night w/ siezures on the way out from Mt. Whitney. Worked all night (got home at 5am again) carrying her down with a great group of local volunteers. I guess I can thank Crossfit Bishop in part for the hi-volume brute strength necessary during these rescues! Carrying a loaded litter for miles down a rocky trail is like deadlifting, nonstop, for freakin' hours.
Nice VIc. You effing SARers. Those people better cbe damn grateful to you, to Frank, to the rest of the team, and at this point, lets be honest, to CF Bishop. Rescue one BMF!
WOW! So proud of you both! Way to represent Bishop and bring back some amazing experiences to share with all of us.
Thanks everyone!
All I can say is that everything was sick in so many different ways!
The box was sick.
The coaches were sick.
Fran made me sick and crushed me in half
Having to change up my pullup grip due "safety" reasons screwed my butterfly rhythm...but l.ike its taught its how you do it any environment unexpected...varied...whew! Sick.
Trying to do a strict muscle up was sick but learn some great steps to get there. Seeing Andres do his strict muscle up was sick.
Learned so much and so excited to bring it back to the sickess crew at CFB! Most of all Thanks Colin,Molly,Paul, and Meghan forthe great coaching..sick! :) :) :)
super sick.
